Toshihiro Kaneshige has been invited to perform at international music festivals and concert series; Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival(Germany),Engadine Festival(Switzerland), Bach Week Houston(USA), Zyklus Internationale Meisterpianisten (Germany), Budapest Spring Festival(Hungary),Bologna Festival (Italy),New Japan Philharmonic chamber music series(Japan).

Toshihiro performed regularly in solo recitals and as a soloist with numerous orchestras all over Europe, USA and Asia; Leipzig, Weimar, Zürich, Vienna, Budapest, Porto, Houston,Tokyo, Nagoya, Helsinki and others. He has also worked with numerous orchestras, including Cracow Philharmonic Orchestra, Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra, The Polish Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Sopot and the Ororquestra do norte Portugal. He won the 1st Prize at the Coimbra World Piano Competition(2016).

Toshihiro studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts with Kenji Watanabe and Ewa Poblocka and the University of Music and Theatre »Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy« Leipzig with Prof.Gerad Fauth. He also has took the private lessons and the master classes of Makoto Ueno, Menahem Pressler ,Elisabeth Leonskaja, Eliso Virsaladze, Antti Siirala and others.

Since October 2018 Toshihiro Kaneshige has taught at the University of Music and Theatre »Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy« Leipzig and the Gewandhaus Orchestra “Mendelssohn Orchestra Academy”.
