Rodrigo Ayala

Rodrigo Ayala was self-taught in piano from the age of eight to nineteen, when he began taking private lessons with Jacinto Mateus and enrolled at the Lisbon College of Music. He studied with Manuel Araújo and Aquiles Delle Vigne at the Aquiles Delle Vigne International Music Academy between 2014 and 2019, and participated in events such as the Coimbra World Piano Meeting and the Mozarteum Salzburg Summer Academy. He also studied in Paris with Judy Chin, Jean-Marie Cottet and Serge Forté, obtaining a Diploma in Musical Studies from the Ville d’Avray Conservatory. In duo with Alexander Stretile, he won 3rd prize at the Taiwan International Piano Ensemble Competition 2018 and 2nd prize at the Sardoal International Piano Duo Competition 2019.
