Yuanhung Lin received her master’s degree from the Royal Birmingham
Conservatoire in England, where she studied under Professor Daniel Browell
and Julian Jacobson. She then moved to the United States to pursue her
doctorate, studying with Dr. Elizabeth Moak and earning a Doctor of Musical
Arts degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Currently, she serves
as a piano faculty member at Abilene Christian University, where she teaches
piano majors and other piano-related courses.
During her time at the conservatoire, Ms. Lin was awarded the Study Abroad
Scholarship by the Taiwanese Ministry of Education for her research on
Robert Schumann’s editions of piano works. She was also a prizewinner of
the Donohoe Piano Prize. Ms. Lin has received coaching from several
internationally renowned pianists such as Sylvia Chu, Aquiles Delle Vigne,
Peter Donohoe, Leon Fleisher, Agathe Leimoni, and Michael Wladkowski.
As a performer, Ms. Lin has played in various countries, including Taiwan,
Greece, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, the
Netherlands, and multiple cities across the United States. This upcoming fall
will mark her debut in South America, with performances scheduled in Peru
and Colombia.
