Maddalena De Facci has been teaching piano and preparatory musical in private and
public schools for over twenty years.
In 2003 she founded the irisMusica music school in Marcon (Venice) where she is

She develops her teaching and educational activity based on the careful planning of
a personalized study course for each student that allows them to value their peculiar
characteristics and make their study as rewarding and productive as possible.
Over the years she also has planned particular didactic approaches that allow her to
introduce preschool children to the study of the piano in a playful but already
professional way and to make them play in a short time small compositions of the
classical repertoire.
Thanks to this way of work she obtained rewarding results such as numerous
educational prize and awards for many first prizes of her students in national and
international piano competitions as “Città di Cesenatico”, “J.S. Bach” in Sestri

Piave, “Città di San Donà di Piave, “Riviera etrusca” di Piombino, “Città di
Bucchianico” and many others.
She has been invited to be part of the jury of many category piano competitions.
Many are its students who have passed with full marks the exams at the Music
Conservatories.
Some of them graduated from the Conservatory at a very young age and are now
continuing their studies by specializing in piano academies or two-year specialization
of the Conservatories and teach piano in irisMusica school.
In 2010 she started the concert Festival “Incontriamoci tra le note”, now in its tenth
edition of which she is artistic director. This event, particular of its kind, connects
about fifteen music schools and involves about one hundred and fifty students who,
as soloists or in chamber ensembles, by proposing a short concert program begin to
gradually prepare themselves to support professional situations.
With the aim of promoting classical music in the area where she lives and teaches,
she has become promoter of many concert festivals of professionals and young
musicians, cycles of music education conferences and trips with itineraries about the
history of music and the great composers in Italy and in Europe.
She always has paid special attention to the value of music also in the social sphere
